Production Readiness Review
What it actually means
The review asking whether the design can be built at rate, cost, and quality: processes proven, tooling ready, supply chain in place, workforce trained. It examines the manufacturing system with the same rigor CDR applied to the design — because a design that can't be produced repeatably isn't done.

The run-up to production decisions, often iterated from EMD into LRIP.
