Critical Technical Parameter
What it actually means
A measurable system characteristic that, if not achieved, puts the system's operational capability in question — the technical quantities developmental testing exists to measure. CTPs bridge the gap between engineering-level performance and the operational requirements: each one should trace to a KPP or key attribute.
