Formal Qualification Test

What it actually means

The witnessed, configuration-controlled test campaign proving a software item meets its specification — run against the SRS requirements with approved procedures, and producing the verification evidence of record. "Formal" is the operative word: dry runs find the problems, FQT documents the compliance.

Where you'll meet it
