CCB
Configuration Control Board
What it actually means
The board that decides whether proposed changes to a baselined configuration are approved, deferred, or rejected. It exists so that changes to something many teams depend on happen deliberately, with impacts assessed, rather than by whoever edits the document last. Chairing authority and thresholds are defined in the configuration management plan.
Where you'll meet it
Any program with baselined requirements or designs; ECPs live or die here.
